* Planning and executing lead selling activities to drive sales, discount, margin, mix, and customer targets.
* Developing knowledge to champion customers as trusted advisors and conducting business in a professional, safe, and ethical manner.
* Building and delivering expert knowledge of the market and competitors to the business.
* Continuing to grow and develop knowledge, competencies, and skills as an industry-leading sales professional in the windows industry.
* Managing the Sunshine Coast region autonomously and becoming the preferred supplier for all windows/doors solutions.
Candidate Expectations
The successful candidate should have a drive to learn a new industry and products. Key requirements include:
* A proven sales performer within the building materials industry with strong annual turnover, high-quality service, and valuable relationships.
* Exceptional consultative selling skills with a proven track record of success throughout the sales cycle.
* Experience working in similar channels with architects, builders, and/or retail customers is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, engage, and influence people effectively at all levels.
* Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
* Systems savvy with experience using MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
