We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratory Team based in Kwinana on a fixed term basis for 6 months with the possibility to extend. The position The core responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Routine analysis of Coogee's raw materials, manufactured and stored products;Assist in non-routine analysis of Coogee's raw materials, manufactured and stored products as required;Assist in Research and Development projects as required;Assist in Manufacturing or Terminal related tasks as required;Assist in Health, Safety, and Environment related tasks as required;Maintenance of laboratory records in line with ISO 17025 and other requirements;Compliance with Workplace Health, Safety and Human Resources policies and procedures;Perform any other duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager or Chemist.This is a Laboratory Technician Day role with possible Out-of-Hours work.The successful candidate We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has:
Relevant Chemistry qualification, Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques and/or experience;Experience and knowledge of Titanium Production and Quality processes;Experience and knowledge in commissioning, maintaining and operating an ICP-OES or MS;Experience and knowledge of analysis of products and raw materials;Experience and knowledge of analysis of terminal products;Well-developed communication, written and interpersonal skills;MS Office Proficiency – Word and Excel;Competent in quality control chemical production testing;Experience and knowledge in Testing Fuels to ASTM/IP Methods (Optional).Experience and knowledge in maintaining ISO 17025 Accreditation.Experience and knowledge in commissioning and maintaining Testing equipment.This is an exciting opportunity within a dynamic and energetic Laboratory Team working for an essential service business.
