Project Support Officer – Major Program Delivery
Location: Sydney Metro – Parramatta (hybrid working), a mixture of working from the office and home
Employment type: Ongoing Full-Time
Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6, $93,295 to $102,941 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
As a Project Support Officer – Major Program Delivery you will be supporting the Major Program Delivery team within the Infrastructure and Assets division. You will assist the team with the development and implementation of projects, including project plans, policies and solutions and contributes to issue resolution and escalation, research, analysis activities and planning and monitoring activities.
What you’ll do
As part of the Major Program Delivery team, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
1. Provide project and operational support, including monitoring, and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to support the delivery of major strategic asset planning projects such as infrastructure strategies, precinct strategies and sustainability strategies.
2. Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology.
3. Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
4. Assist the project team to complete tasks, update project documentation and implement project plans in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other priorities.
5. Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders and collaboration across teams to manage interdependencies between projects and outcomes.
6. Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers, to support project management delivery.
You'll work as part of a team of professionals that manage the Program Delivery for Infrastructure and Assets division. You'll have the opportunity to combine working from home and work in a modern office environment, as well as undertaking site visits on a regular basis.
