About the position: We have an exciting position available for an Operations Data Officer who will be the backbone of our on-site operations and provide administrative support to all areas on site. This is a Permanent full time position in Kyogle working Monday – Fridays, As an Operations Data Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting various departments, with a special focus on Safety management, production and maintenance teams. Your key duties will include accurate data entry, Safety Reporting, Contractor management, purchasing processes, and generating reports for the site manager and supervisor. You’ll also have the opportunity to showcase your organisational skills by handling end of month administrative tasks. From tackling general administration duties to managing Safety, maintenance and contractor- related documentation, you’ll be the heart of our operation, ensuring smooth functioning across the site. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast -paced environment, possess exceptional attention to detail and has a knack for juggling multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in data entry, and purchasing systems, and report generation will be crucial for success in this role. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Front-line representative, greeting visitors/customers warmly is crucial in creating a warm atmosphere Ensures personal safety and safety of others at all times. Managing phone calls with professionalism and efficiency. Identifies, investigates and controls hazards in accordance with procedures. Identify, intervene and report all safety non-compliance’s observed. Investigates and documents opportunities for improvement and makes clear, concise, and accurate recommendations to management. Ensures implementation of new procedures, evaluates success of changes and modifies procedures as required. Documents procedures or checks existing documentation and makes appropriate changes in accordance with procedures when required. Ensuring timely and accurate creation and maintenance of data To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have the following: Previous experience in an Administration Role on a Manufacturing Site or Business. Excellent communication skills to effectively address inquiries and provide accurate information to callers. Attentive, Friendly and professional demeanour at all times Knowledge of Purchasing Systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills Proven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
