Enrolled Nurse - Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available St Andrews Village Ballina is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Enrolled Nurse to work on a part-time basis across weekday and weekend shifts, AM and PM. The facility has a Chief Clinical Officer and a Clinical Care Manager who administer care and services to over 120 residents and support the RNs and ENs in the delivery of high-quality care. What you'll be doing Reporting to a Registered Nurse, you will be working with a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carer Workers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents and their families to deliver high quality clinical and personal care and lifestyle support services to residents of St Andrews Village. This includes: Contributing to the formulation of care plans/clinical pathways in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Providing high quality resident-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. Supporting residents in the activities of daily living. Intervention and evaluation of resident health and functional status with ongoing communication with the Registered Nurse and multi-disciplinary team members as required. What skills & attributes will I need? Diploma of Nursing Knowledge of the new Aged Care Standards A passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sector. Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and relate to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures. A can-do attitude and demonstrated ability to collaborate positively within a team. Knowledge of electronic care management systems will be an advantage. Physically fit and able to apply safe manual handling practices. Able to use smartphone/tablet and learn new systems for work purposes. Rights to work in Australia.
