Collaborating with our talented chefs, you will contribute to the creation of innovative and flavorful culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.As we lead into the Summer season, we are recruiting Chef de Parties in the following kitchens:Conference & EventsHarvest BuffetA few of your responsibilities: Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the day-to-day leadership in your kitchenFollow ordering procedures to monitor and ensure our kitchens are sufficiently stockedEnsure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchenMentor and develop the Demi's, Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigadeWhat are we looking for: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar culinary role in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentCertificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalentFull work rights and flexible availability to suit a full time role over a 7-day rosterComprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food preparation methods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Passion for culinary arts and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.About you: With your passion for turning local ingredients into delicious dishes and a natural skill at bringing the best out of the team around you, you will be pivotal in shaping the success of our kitchens at The Star.
