You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.In this role, you'll:You will be responsible for leading network and road safety investigations and technical assessments, providing traffic and transport advice, assisting in delivery of road safety programs and representing Transport at Council traffic committees. This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity where you play a significant role in actively influencing and promoting positive safety outcomes for road and traffic infrastructure projects for the ultimate benefit of communities in the Sydney region.What you will be involved in:Lead internal teams and contractors in high level traffic, safety and land use development investigations, audits and technical assessments.Assist in the management of allocated programs and projects including consultation with councils and stakeholders and managing delivery of programs.Assist in the development and application of state-wide network management procedures and contribute to quality audits and reviews of procedures.Provide expert traffic and transport management advice within Transport for NSW and to councils.Essential requirements:Tertiary qualifications in traffic engineering or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience in a related field.The salary for this position is $142,931.00 - $156,200.00 per annum plus superannuation. Please note this is a temporary role for a duration of up to 12 months.
