Key Responsibilities : Supervise Daily Operations : Manage the day-to-day running of the factory, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and support a team of Joiners, Machinist, Apprentices, and general labourers.
Production Scheduling : Collaborate with the Design & Project teams and Directors to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
Quality Control : Ensure all joinery work meets company standards and specifications before dispatch.
Health & Safety : Promote and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Equipment Maintenance : Oversee the maintenance and proper use of machinery and tools, arranging for repairs when necessary.
Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain materials and stock levels, placing orders when required.
Problem Solving : Troubleshoot any issues that arise in production and work to resolve them swiftly.
Qualifications & Experience : Proven experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role within the commercial joinery or shopfitting industry.
Strong understanding of commercial joinery processes, materials, and modern production techniques.
Ability to read technical drawings and ensure specifications are met.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in a workshop environment.
Experience with CNC machinery.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
