The City of Sydney is undergoing a significant transformational change within Property Services, and we're seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our Business Services Team.The City manages a unique and diverse range of assets, including heritage-listed commercial buildings, award-winning libraries, and operationally critical depots. Our portfolio includes over 1,500 property interests worth $2.7 billion, covering assets such as building properties, footway agreements, vacant land, and road interests. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the realisation of our Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 vision by driving high-performance asset management.As a Cleaning Assurance Manager, you'll:Schedule and conduct regular audits to assess cleaning quality and effectiveness. Develop and maintain a robust quality assurance program, analysing results to implement strategic improvements.Continuously review, evaluate, and enhance cleaning processes to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the organisation, ensuring compliance with associated conditions.Support Property Asset Managers with site-level budget management, ensuring cleaning operations remain within budget and variations offer value for money.Resolve and report on feedback or complaints from Property Asset Managers, implementing reactive and preventative measures to prevent a recurrence of issues.We're looking for someone with:Tertiary qualifications in building, facilities management, or equivalent workplace experience.Demonstrated sound understanding of cleaning service operations and contracts.Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Property Management Services, State or Local government is preferred but not mandatory.Strong organisational, reporting, and communication skills.This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration and criminal history check.Applications must be submitted online by 11:59pm, Wednesday 27 November 2024.For more information, contact Bryony Hair, Recruitment Resourcer on 02 9288 5971.
