As Head of Human Resources, you will play a vital leadership role during this pivotal period, providing high-level policy and implementation advice to the Director, Assistant Directors, senior management, and Council.
Key Responsibilities:
* Under broad direction, provide leadership in the provision of strategic and operational people management policies and processes.
* Provide high-level, timely, and professional advice to Corporate Management Group, Director, and Council.
* Manage the resources, inputs, processes, performance, and development of the HR team using participative management practices and a supportive management style.
* Promote a positive organisational culture that fosters accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements in respect to Human Resources Management.
* Maintain contemporary knowledge on relevant APS and industry standards, and HR trends.
Build and maintain effective relationships with managers and stakeholders across all business areas of the Memorial and externally, and work in a collaborative way to deliver operational policy and programs.
Lead and participate in workplace relations matters and represent the Memorial where and when required.
