Learning and Development Opportunities About the role This role contributes to the success of the City by providing high-level professional event management support, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of City of Hobart events and activation programs.
Role accountabilities include: Coordinate the delivery, installation, maintenance, stock take, and storage of City-owned event equipment.
Oversee the planning and execution of key City of Hobart events, including the Christmas Pageant and NYE Crowd Management plan.
Facilitate community participation in City events by developing operational plans, conducting group briefings, and managing documentation and design.
Oversee community arts programs related to City events.
Act as a liaison for external and community stakeholders at events and activations.
