About the Role
We are looking to bolster the strong team that exists on our $305m Shoalhaven Hospital redevelopment with a Foreman who will have a focus on interiors & finishes.
Your main role would be to coordinate on-site teams to deliver relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications to achieve effective performance in accordance with detailed short term programs and schedules within the designated time and budget.
Implement site safety, quality and environment control and identify and assess potential risks.
Responsibilities of the role include;
* Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
* Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.
* Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.
* Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.
* Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager
* Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits
* Manage administrative duties for direct and indirect report requirements
* Review design documentation, read drawings, provide constructive review and oversee implementation of final designs

* Ensure contractual mechanisms of subcontractors
* Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.
What we are looking for;
* Trade Qualification or similar.
* Previous experience working on the finishes of $50m plus commercial or health jobs
* 5 years previous supervisory experience in a similar role
* Come from a carpentry background
* Experience working for established tier 1/2 main contractors
