We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team on a 6 month contract to provide production and graphic design support for our global platform. Our brand is distinct and creative, and our design team brings a strong design aesthetic to bringing the brand to life in a wide variety of executions. A particular point of pride is the fact that the firm rarely, if ever, utilises external design resources.
About the role
The primary emphasis for this Graphic Designer role will be to support brand campaigns and design material for all business development efforts across our global platform. The role is to be a member of the firm’s global graphic design team.
We have a dynamic and innovative brand that has been regularly recognised for distinctive campaigns. You will be supporting the advancement of our brand efforts globally by working on external and internal marketing materials, which includes brochures, advertisements, graphics for electronic communications, event collateral, pitch material, infographics etc.

Successful candidates will have previous work experience (5+ years) in a professional environment as a graphic designer in addition to a tertiary qualification in design.
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a digital, collaborative environment are a must. Adapting to a busy workflow, maintaining organisation, and excelling in a fast-paced environment are critical parts of the daily routine. You will work under the direction of team leadership to learn our brand and create designs that are relevant to K&L Gates.
Program knowledge and experience:
* Proven skills and educational training in typography, layout, composition, colour theory, and information design; multimedia/motional graphics design experience is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat in a PC environment is required.
* Experience with Dreamweaver, After Effects, and Premiere is a plus.
* Competent with Microsoft Office suites (primarily Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
You will also have experience with social media platforms and keep current with industry trends and changes in graphic design software. Your ability to be flexible and being open to learning and development is also important.
