We are the partner of choice within the waterproofing and flooring industries leading the way with new technologies, best practice, and customer service.About the role Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all IT Helpdesk enquiries, and you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the enquiries to resolution. No two days will ever be the same as you provide exceptional service to all internal stakeholders across our network of branches spanning from North Queensland to Victoria. Along with having a strong customer-focused approach to your role, your responsibilities will include, but are definitely not limited to:Manage the Service Desk ticketing system by ensuring all incidents and requests are logged into the Help Desk systemManage inbound support calls and emailsDiagnose and resolve desktop, printers, and network problemsSupport the IT infrastructure, including first-line networking, telephone, and audio-visual systemsEscalation of reported and registered service Requests to IT Manager where necessaryLiaise with third party service providers for problem diagnosis and rectificationHelping with Microsoft 365 managementAbout you You will be a self-motivated, tech-savvy individual who is looking to join a team where real career growth is possible. You will be either studying or working in the field or have a real passion for IT and looking to grow your skills. Along with being a great communicator you will demonstrate the following characteristics:Demonstrable skills in exceptional technical troubleshooting and problem solvingPrior experience in an IT Helpdesk or IT Support role would be advantageous but not essentialStrong analytical ability that can get to the bottom of issues quickly and solve technical problems thoroughlyExcellent attention to detailAbility to communicate across all levels of an organisationTakes ownership of your work and follows problems through to resolutionExcellent time management skillsWindows OS support and troubleshooting experience.Benefits: There are many benefits to joining the Bayset team.
