To support the exciting growth of our Allied Health and Clinical Services team, we have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist, passionate about community age care, to provide services to our Hervey Bay region customers. The role Reporting to a Team Leader – Allied Health Care, you will:
Manage a wide variety of customer presentations across aged care funding areas, including Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program, and Short-Term Restorative CareSupport customers in achieving their goals related to daily living, mobility, and community participationConduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plansAssist with the provision of simple and complex equipment prescription, and major and minor home modificationsCollaborate with clients, families, carers, GP's and other professionals to ensure holistic careStay updated with best practices through ongoing professional developmentThe role is available as a permanent full-time or part-time position (Monday to Friday). There is flexibility with fortnightly hours, and we invite you to outline your preference in your cover letter.
Our team enjoys meeting customers in their home to provide OT services and also the flexibility and autonomy to complete administrative tasks either at home or at a Suncare office.
