As a luxury lifestyle brand, the Conquest philosophy is based on the belief that our developments should inspire and enrich communities.Conquest has constructed multiple large residential, mixed-use and retail projects and we are growing - nationally and internationally - at a rapid rate!Due to our exponential growth, we are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Conquest Capital Funds Management team:Positional Expectations & Duties:Manage a range of critical and analytical tasks, undertaking detailed due diligence of a diverse range of assets to provide a pricing assessment, market analysis, potential and risks, and value add strategies.Take ownership for developing and maintaining property and fund level models.Possess the capability to undertake advanced high-level, complex financial modelling to analyse and assess properties, funds, financial benchmarking and strategies, company analyses and so on.Analysis of asset and portfolio performance against the funds' investment strategies.Collaborate with the investment team to assess and develop strategic investment recommendations.Prepare and present investment reports, financial models, and investment memos to senior management and investors.Management of external valuation process including review and analysis.Monitor the performance of existing real estate assets, track market trends, and recommend strategies to optimise portfolio performance.Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics that may impact real estate investments.Support due diligence efforts and liaise with various stakeholders to facilitate investment processes.Liaise with various external and internal stakeholders to write and produce detailed property marketing material (Information Memorandums, Executive Summaries, Videos, Online etc.
).Prepare approval papers, reports, and presentations for managers, trustees, boards, investors, and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with internal stakeholders on capital expenditure budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis, including developing and presenting reports.Review independent valuations and provide constructive feedback on external valuation reports.Ensure database accuracy and reconciliation with source data (leases, valuations, tenancy schedules).Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.Market research including tracking of national sales and leasing transactions; preparation of quarterly market outlook.Build in-house research capabilities, maintaining relevant databases and financial insights.Undertake feasibility studies for new acquisitions including programme, input of commercially relevant and current costs, revenues, cash flow and land values using effective analysis.Positional Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Property, Land Economics, Real Estate, Commerce, Business, Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Finance or related.Demonstrated multi-year commercial experience as an analyst with advanced skills in financial modelling and data analysis with a solid understanding of the property investment market.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish rapport with clients and stakeholders.Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated expertise in Power BI and other data tools, with a strong track record of creating and maintaining dynamic, actionable reports.Strong grasp of data analysis and visualisation principles.Advanced analytical skills, including experience in predictive modelling and forecasting.Ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems, anticipate challenges, and develop innovative solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as an Investment Analyst?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Have you worked in a role which requires experience with financial analysis and modelling?What's your expected annual base salary?How many years' experience do you have with forecasting for businesses?How many years' experience do you have in the real estate industry?How many years' experience do you have in market research?How many years' experience do you have with investment fund management?
