About the Opportunity
We have multiple exciting opportunities to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Teams at both WCH and FMC as an Advanced Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, full time. This is a state-wide opportunity covering both Women's and Children's Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre (Bedford Park 5042).
In this challenging role you will:
4. Provide clinical services in Obstetric Medicine of the highest possible standard to inpatients and outpatients of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network and Flinders Medical Centre, under Consultant supervision.
5. Participate in a seven-day roster including after-hours as required.
6. Demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
About You
To be eligible for this role, you should be Registrable with the AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
7. Clinical skills appropriate for the duties performed in the work unit
8. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other staff
9. Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads
10. Broad knowledge across all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-month allocation as Advanced Trainee/Registrar Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
