Exciting things are happening at Catholic Healthcare!This year we'll celebrate our 30 years in care and we now have 5000+ employees working with us.Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.Reporting to the Residential Manager at St Joseph's, Coffs Harbour, you will be providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.About the Role: Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures.Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes.Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.Working as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager. To be successful in this role you'll need: A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role.Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others.Strong customer-centric approach to business.Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
