About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Community Manager to join our Stockland Halcyon Victoria based team. This newly created role will contribute to the success of our growing team and oversee the operations of multiple Halcyon communities, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders in alignment with Halcyon's mission, vision, and values.
The Victorian Stockland Halcyon business is experiencing rapid growth, with one community reaching stabilisation and four projects in development. This is an exciting time to join this fast-growing portfolio as we build out the Victorian operating platform and welcome our first sets of homeowners into these communities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working closely with Community Managers to set up the Victorian operating platform, manage stakeholder expectations, and understand homeowner lifestyle needs and desires.
* Assisting Project Directors during new community ramp-up by providing advice, training, operational alignment, and support to the Community Manager, Facility Caretaker, and homeowners, as required.
* Monitoring external party agreements and contracts to ensure best service and financial outcomes for Halcyon.
* Building and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with homeowners.
* Managing and implementing continuous improvement with respect to homeowner delight programs.
* Working with the Community Teams to drive initiatives that create community dynamics and support a positive and enduring relationship between homeowners and Halcyon.
* Managing community operations in compliance with relevant legislation, master plan guidelines, community living guidelines, park rules, and Halcyon policies, procedures, and processes.
* Collaborating with contractors and service providers.
* Building meaningful relationships with external and local stakeholders.
* Managing all recruitment needs for Community Managers and Community Administrators and aiding in the recruitment of Facility Caretakers.
* Providing mentorship, motivation, and training to community employees.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and empathetic people-person with both stakeholder relationship and people management skills. Experience from a background such as over 50's community, Retirement Living, Hotel/Resort, or Community Services industry or similar with an operational focus will be highly regarded.
You should have:
* People leadership experience with a proven track record of developing, mentoring, and managing people.
* A community-minded and service-oriented approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Exposure and knowledge in financial and budget management and report preparation.
* Proficient computer literacy, including the use of MS Office Suite.
* Tertiary qualification in business management, community services, or similar.
