Job DescriptionThis is an important leadership role.
You will be putting your exceptional clinical skills to use as you make a difference in the lives of your clients and foster the development of others within the broader team.
On a daily basis, you will be: Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely mannerAssessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessmentsInterpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participantAssisting with guiding, collaborating with, and reflecting with allocated New Grad/Junior staff members and/or a studentReviewing New Grad/Junior staff members and/or a student's reports and documentationConducting weekly scheduled contact (phone or face to face) with New Grad/Junior staff members and/or a studentMaintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure complianceAbout YouWe are seeking a person with:
Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA as an Occupational TherapistExperience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy servicesDemonstrated at least 3 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation and/or paediatricsA genuine passion for working in the disability sectorExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsCurrent and valid Working with Children and Police ChecksValid Driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicleThe ability to work independentlyWhat's in it for you?As you support many, we support you.
