Job Description
* Oversee the entire compost production process to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly compost production plans and cleaning schedules are met.
* Operate machinery in accordance with safe work practices.
* Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational objectives.
* Assist in managing performance and development of team members.
* Implement strategies to improve operational performance.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
* Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement activities accordingly.
* Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
* Champion a safety-first culture and report any incidents in accordance with WHS policy.
The Successful Applicant
* Minimum 3 years of experience within a supervisory or management role.
* Experience within an agricultural, fresh produce, or production environment.
* Ability to work as part of the larger management team but also autonomously and independently in the role.
* Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Ability to strategize and implement improvements to operational processes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Passion for working in an outdoor environment, and willingness to pitch in where needed.
* Forklift and Front End Loader licence is preferred.
