The Credit and Affordability team aims to minimise overdue accounts, prevent bad debts, whilst consuming the least amount of resources and upholding optimal customer experience. The Senior Data Insights Analyst will be providing intelligence to identify opportunities to enhance the collections experience through designing, tracking, reporting and monitoring outcomes and root cause themes from the team.What you'll be doing: Elevate the use of analytics to enhance and optimise our collections capability to maximise debt coverage and collections outcomes.Coach and collaborate with analysts and specialists to drive measurable collection outcomes via analytical and statistical capabilities.Develop and maintain customer segmentation models contributing to uplift in commercial outcomes.Management and development of data governance framework for all reporting assets.Provide technical support and standards relative to data best practices.Optimise & automate analytics processes, including Data extraction, transformation and delivery for the purposes of generating repeatable intelligence to monitor initiative outcomes.What you'll bring to the role: Data extraction, transformation and formatting skills (from SQL based databases/platforms e.g. MS SQL Server, SAP HANA).Data/analytics tools such as Python, R Studio or equivalent.Expertise in using extremely large, complex data sets to draw conclusions and effectively communicate findings with technical & non-technical teams, including senior stakeholders.A strong understanding of credit management principles would be advantageous.Experience in credit risk and collections analytics desirable.Self-managing, pro-active and adaptable with the ability to apply problem solving skills to achieve outcomes.Demonstrated experience in analytical roles providing insight and implementing business outcomes based on recommendations.Tertiary qualification in Business / IT / Commerce / Engineering would be advantageous.At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including: Flexible working options including hybrid work.Discounts on energy, telcos and solar plans.Participate in Energise - our reward & recognition program.Access 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer.Access to an additional week of recharge leave per year.Play an active role in our diversity & inclusion initiatives.Novated leasing and Electric Vehicle subscriptions.Access to study assistance, AGL's share purchase plan and insurance deals.*Benefits may change over time and vary based on role type and location.
