You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Lead project planning, development and delivery of VSA's core modelling projects and products, including the VSA's Employment Model and Vocational Education and Training Skills Alignment (VETSA) model.Contributes advanced expertise and knowledge to identify and deliver on improvements to economic models and insights products produced by the Industry Skills Analysis team and the VSA.Generate quantitative and qualitative economic insights about current and future skills requirements using analytical software such as R, Python or equivalent.Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making and maximise the impact of our analytical products.The TeamThe position of Principal Economic Modeller forms a part of the Analysis and Insights Branch within the Victorian Skills Authority.The key role of this Branch is to deliver cutting edge advice on skills needs, labour market intelligence and VET performance in Victoria.
