ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Head of Capability and Learning at Cotton On you will be a pivotal force in shaping and propelling our global capability framework and learning curriculum. Re -imagine our learning experiences foster the growth of our incredible 20,000-strong team. As the torchbearer for our ambitious vision, you'll report directly to the General Manager of People and Performance, collaborating seamlessly with business leaders and the global People leadership team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Shape and drive our world class capability strategy globally. Partnering with our P&P and Group Leadership, scope, prioritise, design and roll out our capability and talent framework aimed at helping to achieve our business goals.
* Establish an effective rhythm of partnering with key stakeholders embedding capability development into our 365 workflow.
* Build initiatives to arm our leaders with teams who are not only skilled but have strong succession and clear development pathways, strengthening our culture and solidifying our future.
* Research external thought leadership and best practice to inform our tools, delivered in a way that resonates with our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge, we're looking for:
* Proven leadership experience in organisational development, capability development, or learning and development. Demonstrated experience leading a learning function is essential.
* A profound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and various training delivery methods.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate seamlessly at all levels of the organisation.
* A track record of solving business challenges through the effective design and implementation of relevant programmatic interventions.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for learning and development.
* Experience with learning management systems and other HRIS technologies.
* Proven experience in influencing C-Suite executives and effectively collaborating with leaders at all levels.
