The Position
We are looking for multiple skilled and well-experienced Electronics Technicians to join the team, based in Western Australia .
Being part of a specialised team, the candidates will be responsible for maintaining current relationships with existing customers and to also foster new relationships with potential customers to enhance service delivery of the business.
The business is a busy hub and as a consequence a team-player attitude will be a mandatory requirement.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment. It is a pre-requisite that the candidate possesses extensive experience in a technical capacity and must possess a strong bias towards effective customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
In addition to the following, other duties may be assigned.
4. Test and inspection of all Ampac PCBs and Sub-assemblies
5. Carry out fault-finding and perform repairs, if necessary
6. Repair test jigs for Ampac PCBs
7. Program IC’S for specific application (different countries use different standards)
8. Report and document system and design faults
9. Set up and run production batches on a Printed Circuit Board (SMT)
10. Ensure that manufactured printed circuit boards are QA compliant
11. Maintain inventory accuracy of components
12. Work with Production Engineering/Supply Chain on new product introduction

13. Ability to use hand tools – electric screwdrivers, hand and electric-crimpers, etc
14. Ability to read technical drawings
15. Ability to read values of electronic components
16. Ability to follow and carry out quality control inspection
17. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
18. Able to work autonomously and set priorities
19. Ability to solder
20. Ability to assist with the implementation and continued application of the Quality System
21. Able to advise on non-conformances and assist with the corrective and preventive actions as defined
22. Able to suggest improvements to their working practices and submit ideas as appropriate
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
23. Electronics Trade Certificate or equivalent
24. Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
Benefits – Above Award:
25. Base salary of $55,000-$60,000 per annum
26. All entitlements as per the National Employment Standards
Working Conditions:
27. No Shift Work
28. Standard Hours – commencing 7:00am – 3:06pm
29. Occasional Overtime
