This multi-skilled team excels in internal and external communication, media, and web, providing a collaborative environment for creative professionals.Your new roleAs a Graphic Designer, you will take client briefs and provide design solutions through to finished artwork for digital or print publications.
Your responsibilities will include creating publications, infographics, pull-up banners, and social media graphics.
You will work closely with other Graphic Designers in delivering user-centred and creative solutions, reporting directly to the EL1 Communications Manager.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:Formal qualifications in graphic design or a related area.High proficiency and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.Good proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in creating WCAG 2.2 accessible documents, building accessibility into InDesign documents, and producing accessible PDFs.Experience typesetting long-form documents and creating artwork for printed publications.Experience managing and applying branding guidelines.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal, client service, and relationship-management skills, including the ability to confidently present design solutions and explain your design rationale to clients, and negotiate solutions with stakeholders.An ability to critically analyse and evaluate design briefs and requests to deliver creative and effective products and outcomes.Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage work practices and workflows, set priorities, and work under limited supervision to meet tight deadlines.This role is only open to Australian citizens and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (baseline, NV1, or NV2).What you'll get in returnThrough Hays, this role offers you an attractive hourly rate and an opportunity to progress in your career as well as:12 Month Non-ongoing or 12 month temporary S26 TransferRegular contact with consultants throughout the duration of your assignmentWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to Krystal Smith at ******.
