We are on the hunt for a Parts Supervisor to join our expanding team in Cairns at our Kenny Street branch. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.
In this role, you will drive success and oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse team by providing strong leadership and decision-making. This is a great opportunity to elevate your leadership experience as a Parts/Warehouse professional and grow your career with Hastings Deering.
As a Parts Supervisor you will:
1. Use key leadership skills to drive and deliver safe, productive and quality outcomes to our customers
2. Support, mentor, coach and manage a team ensuring that utilization and efficiency is maximised
3. Drive compliance with all workplace health and safety legislation and company policies
4. Proactively assist in the sales of parts, whilst maintaining good communication and strong working relations with the business centre, the wider business and our valued customers

About You
A successful teammate will have the following:
16. Strong commercial focus and business acumen within a parts environment
17. Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role within a diversified Company
18. Significant exposure to the warehousing and distribution industry and logistical challenges
19. Extensive background knowledge of AX and Caterpillar parts systems
20. Supervisory experience with a proven ability to maximise warehouse and team member productivity
21. Sound knowledge of warehouse and front office parts operations
22. Ability to comprehensively understand the business systems and processes that we operate
23. Intermediate computer skills with experience using parts ordering systems
24. Ability to demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
