The Opportunity –
Novaskill has partnered with Northern Beaches Council to offer multiple Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship opportunities including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
You’ll complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology whilst working in the Community Transport, Parking & Fleet Team over 2 Years through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation and practical on-the-job experience at the Northern Beaches Council.
Learnings –
* Prepare different surfaces for painting
* Apply paint using various tools and equipment
* Apply decorative wallpaper
* Create textured surfaces
* Communicate with clients to achieve their vision
Outcomes –
* Experience working on residential and commercial interiors
* A sound understanding of work health and safety in the construction industry
* Eligibility to apply for a painting trade licence
* Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities

* The ability to work independently and in a team
* An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical demands

* Previous experience preferred
