About the RoleCanon is currently seeking a TM1 Business Project Manager for a 9-month contract role to drive two key work streams within the Financial Systems team of Canon Oceania.
The first of the work streams is the TM1 Transition Project which will see Canon Oceania move from TM1 Architect and Perspectives to Planning Analytics (both PAW and PAfE).
This role will project manage the business relating areas of this project (75%).
The second work stream is the provision of TM1 support for BAU activities to TM1 Users, the role will also provide this support (25%).
This role has flexible work from home options & will be based from our Macquarie Park office.
It reports to the Group Financial Systems Manager.
Scope of Role Project Management for Transition to Planning Analytics: Managing the project from a business /front end/end user perspective and will work closely with the project's IT Project Manager who will be responsible for the IT Infrastructure and software installation The business/front end/end user part of the project involves managing the following project plan activities: Data Migration, Training, Testing, Change Management, Cutover, Go-live, Hypercare As part of project managing these activities, the role also requires working closely with the Group Financial Systems Manager to focus on the specific areas of Team Coordination, Stakeholder Management, Monitoring and Controlling, Risk and Issue Management, Change Management and Project Closure.
Support, Maintenance and Development of Current TM1 Environment: Take over the Level 2 support from the Group Financial Systems Manager Resolve TM1 issues assigned as part of issue triage About You As an experienced finance/IT professional with at least 5 years experience, you bring an excellent knowledge of Financial Budgeting and Reporting concepts coupled with Advanced level knowledge of TM1 Perspectives/TM1 Planning Analytics to the role.
You have experience in project managing the transition to Planning Analytics and are familiar with standard Project Management concepts.
You are highly organised and you know how to add value to complex projects across multi locations.
You possess extensive experience in working with a wide variety of senior stakeholders and you are a confident communicator with well-honed presentation skills.
