About the Role As an experienced Residential Care Youth Worker/Senior Youth Worker, you will support young people who are facing complex life situations. You will provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed to lead healthy and productive lives. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the young people in your care feel safe, supported, and valuedFoster positive relationships with young people, their families, and the communityAssist in the development of social, emotional, and life skillsSupport young people in making healthy choices and accessing appropriate healthcareWork collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to implement tailored care plansMaintain a clean, safe, and structured home environmentManage daily tasks, including written and verbal reports, case notes, and documentation as required Mandatory Requirements: Relevant experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related fieldCurrent Open Australian Driver's LicenceMinimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards, with the commitment to complete within 12 months of your employment start date)Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain themAvailability for shift work including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as rosteredCurrent Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain oneCurrent Hope and Healing (or willingness to obtain it)National Police Check (or willingness to obtain it) About You We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with vulnerable young people and helping them thrive. For permanent staff we offer 56 hours a fortnight minimum with extra shifts available.
