About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the Role As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical, medical and dental logistic services to patients in accordance with all relevant Laws, professional standards and Defence Policies and Procedures. In this role you will undertake clinical tasks including but not limited to: Dispensing services Inventory management Promoting safe and effective use of medications to patients Providing technical advice and training to health practitioners As the ideal applicant, you will have: A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) At least 2 years' full-time post trainee/internship experience in the last 5 years within a hospital, community or Defence pharmacy setting Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification Membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or Society of Hospital Pharmacists (desirable) About the Location Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 defence staff, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The Health Centre provides primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, and operates a 22-bed 24/7 ward. Standard operating hours are 0730-1530, Monday-Friday.
