Manager - Risk Reporting Our New Team: Join Auto & General, one of Australia's fastest-growing insurance businesses, dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage across Car, Motorcycle, Home, Contents, Pet, and Travel Insurance, along with Roadside Assistance.At A&G, we foster a culture of high performance and high integrity, known as the A&G Way.Our goal is to safeguard a brighter future for our customers, people, and community, and we are committed to supporting our team members with growth opportunities, rewards, and a positive work environment.The Role: As the Manager - Risk Reporting, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of risk-related reporting across Group Risk.You will ensure accurate maintenance and oversight of the Group Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), providing insights that enable the business to make informed decisions.This role involves working closely with various teams to create effective risk reports for Group Risk Committees and regulators, supporting overall risk management, governance, and decision-making.Position Accountabilities: Oversee and monitor the Group RAS Dashboard and KRIs, presenting to the Executive Risk Committee and ensuring divisional compliance.Consolidate Line 2 Risk Reporting for Divisional Risk Committees.Lead the collation, preparation, and editing of Group Risk Committee, RAS, and KRI reports, including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc requests.Conduct in-depth second-line monitoring and reviews.Manage data collection for mandatory reporting to regulators, compiling relevant evidence and information.Gather and analyze internal and external data for reporting and research purposes.Qualifications & Experience: At least 3 years of risk reporting experience coupled with relevant tertiary education or industry experience.Knowledge of APRA prudential services applying to financial services.Experience in the general insurance industry is highly regarded.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, including with the GRC team, Executive Management, and external stakeholders.Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.Strong record-keeping skills with robust practices to ensure a reliable audit trail.High impact presentation skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and strategic thinking.Proven experience in developing risk reporting for various business levels, including the Board.Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group.High level of leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to manage SME experts the A&G Way.Our Perks: Hybrid: Work from home 2 days a week, with our office based in Toowong.Location: Access to retail, dining, parking, and public transport at our city fringe location.Extra Leave: Enjoy a paid 'ME' day, one paid volunteer day, and the option to purchase additional leave.Development Opportunities: Access a range of internal programs and online courses.Employee Discounts: Get discounts on Budget Direct insurance products.If you're ready to make a significant impact and thrive in a growing business, apply now!Auto & General is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can succeed.Please note: Recruitment agencies are kindly asked to refrain from sending unsolicited resumes.Auto & General is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
