The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Director in the Australian Energy Sector to join our team based in any of our Eastern Seaboard offices in Australia. This is a newly created role in exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a priority growth market.
Reporting to the Managing Director you’ll join our Australian leadership team and primarily be responsible for:
1. Developing a comprehensive sales strategy specifically tailored to the Energy Sector, this includes transmission, renewables, energy transition and sustainable fuels.
2. Establishing a sales pipeline that aligns with our strategic goals, including regularly reviewing and update the pipeline to reflect changing market conditions and priorities.
3. Working closely with the marketing team to enhance the organisations brand presence within the Energy sector. This includes leveraging marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns to position Beca as a leader in the market.
4. Achieving sales targets, ensuring opportunities are turned into commercial outcomes for business lines and be involved with regularly tracking progress against sales plan and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales targets and strategic goals.
About you
You’ll have deep market knowledge and extensive industry connections within the Energy sector with a strong understanding of market dynamics. You’ll have proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and have excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
You’ll work collaboratively across the business and primarily interface with Power and Industrial market leaders and teams to align on market and capability development strategies.
