About the Team:
The Professional Indemnity (PI) team, led by a partner with deep expertise in the insurance sector, has a substantial practice representing professionals, particularly in construction and financial services. The team handles high-profile class actions, complex coverage disputes, and notable cases in warranty, indemnity claims, and directors’ and officers’ disputes, with a significant portion of work stemming from the London market.
About the Role:
This opportunity is ideal for a Solicitor passionate about Professional Indemnity (PI) litigation within a dynamic and established team. Responsibilities include:
* Delivering sound legal advice across PI cases
* Staying current with case law and legislation
* Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to provide precise, commercial legal guidance
* Managing a full caseload and prioritizing to ensure effective service
* Understanding client operations to tailor legal strategies effectively
* Building and managing prospective client relationships
* Collaborating closely within a cohesive team
* Pursuing continuous professional development and managing MCLE requirements
About You:
Our client is looking for a candidate with:
* 2-6 years’ PQE in commercial litigation or professional indemnity
* A collaborative, team-focused attitude with strong document management skills
* Practical, client-focused problem-solving and research abilities
* Exposure to business development and natural client relationship-building skills
* Ability to handle cases independently with a strategic, commercial mindset
* Clear, plain-language communication skills and a focus on timely delivery
