Amentum is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure, potentially from multiple locations simultaneously.
Responsibilities: Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs. Identify fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategic environmental systems and their sophisticated electronic support systems. Plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems not fully covered by technical manuals, schematics, etc. Meet requirements for U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph. Hold a College, Vocational School, or High School diploma or equivalent, combined with 10 years of education and experience leading to licensure as a Master HVAC, or equivalent licensure or certification at a State level; or 12 years of experience in equivalent Military HVAC training/certification. Possess EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification. Have 4 years of experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems and their components. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Expert-level experience in design, installation, and sustainment of computer-controlled environmental systems in mobile secure facilities. Fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under the ASHRAE, UFC, and IMC standards. Meet U.S. Government accepted and industry standards criteria for technically complex computer environmental systems, uninterrupted power distribution systems, and power control equipment.
