You'll use your lived experience to promote mental health, resilience, and help-seeking behaviours across the Esperance community. No formal qualifications needed – just a genuine connection to young people and a deep commitment to making a difference.
What You'll Be Doing Engaging young people in meaningful conversation and support.Supporting local events, school visits, and health promotion campaigns.Collaborating with stakeholders to boost awareness of mental health services.Promoting early intervention around mental health, physical health, AOD issues, and vocational support.Helping reduce stigma and build connection through cultural understanding and respectful outreach.What We're Looking For A natural communicator who connects easily with youth.Lived experience or strong community ties – especially with Aboriginal young people.Experience running youth activities, mentoring, or community engagement.A valid driver's licence, Working with Children Check, and recent Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain them).About our client The team in Esperance is grounded in values of Courage, Diligence, Collaboration, and Optimism.
