Position Overview:
This newly created role will report to the Managing Director, forming part of the executive leadership group of the organisation. They seek an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Head of Sales & Product to lead their sales and product teams in executing a renewed vision for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Leadership: Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve clearly defined business growth targets across key markets, managing a high-performance sales team to drive revenue and profitability.
* Product Strategy: Research new aligned products that fit with the vision of representing world-class sustainable interior solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs, customer expectations, and business goals.
* Team Development: Mentor, coach, and build a collaborative sales and product team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability.
* Market Insights & Strategy: Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform product innovation and sales tactics.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure product positioning, messaging, and sales initiatives are aligned with company objectives.
* Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales and product strategies, optimising for growth and customer satisfaction.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align on strategic goals, product priorities, and sales targets.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with a strong background in industries that interact closely with interior designers and architects and a key focus across specified products for higher-end commercial projects.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building high-performing teams in both private and corporate environments.
* Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from market research to product launch and iteration.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
