* The CNC supports the service by completing the initial triage, completion of patient assessments and managing follow reviews.

* Ability to work as an independent practitioner and a key team member.
* Experience in acute nursing is strongly regarded.

The Team:
The Rapid Access Inreach Service (RAIS) supports the care of individuals in the community, it is a recognised hospital avoidance initiative, preventing unnecessary emergency department presentations and hospital admissions. The team is multidisciplinary with Medical Physicians, Nursing, Administration and Allied Health team members all who work in collaboration with General Practitioners and District Health Services.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term part-time, day worker position, working up to 16 hours per fortnight, as soon as we can onboard you until 31 March 2026.
Note: Position is based at the Launceston General Hospital with a requirement to travel to different district locations across the Northern regions of Tasmania.
Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.
You’ll have access to salary package benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
