About the Role As a Senior Project Manager in our Commercial Lending Transformation Team you'll play a key role in helping to deliver strategic initiatives within the portfolio. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing one or multiple streams of work involving significant business value and risk across the Transformation Division, working closely with colleagues across the Enterprise. The Senior Project will primarily be accountable for supporting the Initiative Lead, Lending Origination ensuring all Project Management and Governance artefacts for the Wholesale Lending Origination Platform are met.The individual will promote the Program at Senior Management level within Commercial Australia, New Zealand and Business Services to enable value delivery, resolution of business and technology issues, risks and dependencies, in line with the value case and within defined accountabilities and constraints. As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for:Assist in the finalisation of project business cases, facilitation of the approval process and managing the project within the allocated budget.Lead the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules, including identification and management of dependencies on other initiatives within Commercial and the broader organisation.Work with Lend and Grow Performance Lead and Commercial Transformation Team to ensure timely contribution of inputs to divisional planning ceremonies and forums.Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, other business units and key stakeholders in Commercial Australia. Anticipate and respond to evolving customer needs through controlling and delivering project communications.Work closely with the Commercial Governance Team to ensure transparent, accurate reporting on project status against committed regulatory compliance outcomes.Create the appropriate Program structure and delivery management processes to enable successful delivery.Lead and coordinate project delivery and governance activities i.e., finance, procurement, interdependencies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, resourcing, scope management, scheduling, value, change and quality management.Accountable for development for the Team through the provision of coaching, advice and feedback aligned to the Delivery Excellence Career Pathways framework. To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Leadership: Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex projects within Financial Services.Leadership: Ability to build and form strong relationships and teams; provide direction and vision, and the ability to coach and mentor team members.Communication: Ability to articulate messages and communicate well with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation, from executive level to delivery team members.Stakeholder Management: Experience in fostering strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring targeting communications based on strategic importance of the initiative to the individual Business needs.Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience collaborating with senior executives, including leading conversations and facilitating meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and risks.Adaptability and flexibility: demonstratable ability to pivot ways of working to suit a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities.Project Management: Experience across all project management methodologies and ability to adapt those methodologies to suit each project.Project Management: Extensive experience managing projects with increased scope and emerging complexity during the discovery phase.Degree or relevant qualifications in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
