About the RoleDirectly reporting to the Head of HSEQ, the HSE Advisor will ensure corporate and legislative OH&S compliance and corporate quality standards as well as working with site teams and contractors to ensure standards are met. The role will be on site, including flexible working arrangements (40 hours, flexible shifts).
Duties Assist in shaping and executing the HSEQ plan to minimize incidents and accidents.Offer guidance on integrating Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Asset Management systems into a unified framework aligned with ISO certifications.Support external audits (e.g., BOAS, ISO, TfNSW, SafeWork, EPA) and manage third-party compliance support.Lead initiatives to fulfill HSEQ goals and track company performance.Foster relationships to uncover improvement opportunities and drive best practices.Provide mentorship to leaders, HSRs, safety teams, and return-to-work coordinators.Perform risk-based audits and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.Investigate major incidents and conduct risk assessments.Design and deliver training programs on HSEQ matters.Prepare reports, offer insights to safety teams, and assist in meeting agendas and minute-taking.Share WHS-related information throughout the organization.Collaborate with business units to create and document HSEQ policies, procedures, and tools.To be successful you MUST have: Minimum Cert 4 in Health and SafetySolid site-based HSE experience within transportationSolid knowledge of QHSE processes and relevant Australian safety legislation.Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in compliance with OH&S Legislation.Strong administrative skills including competency with MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint (desirable).A current unrestricted Australian Driver's License with the ability to travel to site as required.Benefits Flexible working arrangementsPaid travelBe part of a great community - long standing staff all very friendly, supportive and helpfulSalary of up to $140kOngoing training and opportunities to upskill and growHealth and wellness programs, paid time off, superannuation contributions (retirement savings), and travel perks (free or discounted travel on public transport).APPLY NOWEmail and submit an up-to-date resume.
