The Executive Manager, Enterprise Reference Data Management is part of the Enterprise Reference Data Management (ERDM) team, within Information Management & Data Platforms Operations, Data Platforms, that provides:A centrally governed enterprise reference data capabilityProduct management of the ERD Foundational Data Product (FDP)Reference Data is data used to classify or categorise other business data. A consistent approach for managing Enterprise Reference Data is one of the foundational capabilities required for an organisation to achieve agility and consistency in managing data.The purpose is to ensure consistency in managing data to reduce the cost of operations and change, and reduce operational risk. The scope of this role includes increasing maturity of the enterprise reference data management operating model. The role will uplift governance and risk management practices across the end-to-end capability including the ERDM platform and the new ERD FDP.Role accountabilities include: Enterprise Reference Data Management Strategy Support and input into the enterprise-level strategy for reference data and associated initiatives.Advise, recommend, influence and drive reference data best practice and improvement.Engage with senior stakeholders on reference data standardisation.Act as the subject matter expert on enterprise data management systems, tools and processes.Promote Reference Data management across the group and proactively drive centralisation (adoption, usage and consumption) of enterprise reference data.Data management, governance and operating model Develop, implement, mature and embed the ERD operating model and operational excellence.Analyse, design, develop and uplift reference data processes and tools including current and target state process mapping, and gap analysis.Develop, maintain and uplift ERD artefacts, documentation and reference material (including standards and guidance).Perform effective change management, supporting impacted stakeholders through proactive consultation and communication.Uplift data accountability for ERD across the Group, including identifying and influencing divisional stakeholders to accept accountability.Drive ongoing alignment with other data management and governance capabilities (e.g. Metadata Management, Data Quality, etc.).Risk management Understand and meet risk management obligations, including (data risk) accountabilities and comply with any regulatory compliance requirements.Drive ongoing alignment with risk management frameworks and policies.Role model and proactively promote adherence to Group policies and standards including Data Risk Management.Identify and assess risks, and uplift control environment (including design and implementation of new controls as required).What's in it for me?
