Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight & Performance: Set comprehensive goals for team performance and growth, aligning with store targets and budgets. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability. Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Report daily sales and performance data, tracking progress against targets and budgets. Ensure effective expense management, wage budgets, and cost structure adherence across all stores. Operations Management: Oversee the management of all Butterboy retail stores to meet goals, KPIs, customer service standards, and budgets. Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures to optimize store operations. Enforce company systems and processes, constantly improving operations for efficiency. Maintain the highest product quality while ensuring cost-effective operations. Manage stock levels and create stocktake schedules to ensure effective display and inventory control. Foster positive, cost-effective relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Customer Experience: Ensure a coordinated approach to delivering outstanding customer service across all stores. Provide ongoing training to staff, ensuring high standards of customer service. Develop and maintain sound customer service processes, manuals, and training materials. Identify skill gaps and collaborate with senior management on coaching and team development. Drive store managers to maintain high customer service expectations, uniform standards, and practices. Team Leadership & Development: Conduct regular check-ins with store managers, providing mentorship and ensuring alignment with company goals. Oversee rostering to ensure optimal staffing levels, operational efficiency, and adherence to wage targets. Support store managers in recruiting talented team members with relevant experience. Hold store managers and team members accountable for meeting performance standards. Ensure all leaders are well-equipped and trained to carry out their roles effectively. Foster a positive team culture, maintaining clear communication between managers, staff, and upper management. Innovation & Marketing: Drive monthly product development and innovation to introduce new offerings and enhance the customer experience. Partner with the marketing team to implement brand initiatives, promotions, in-store displays, and digital marketing strategies. Relay key information to the project manager, ensuring smooth execution of projects and store requirements. Travel: Regular travel to various Butterboy store locations to oversee operations and ensure consistency across all sites. Qualifications: Proven experience in a Retail Area Management role, preferably in the food service or bakery industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and development. Strong understanding of business operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to balance operational efficiency with high-quality customer service standards.
