Teacher (Online) - Aboriginal Studies Location: Remote / working from home Part-time (0.5 FTE) position working school terms only
Commencing 20 January 2025, teaching years 11 and 12, with continuing employment dependent on school enrolment numbers

Position Purpose: The purpose of the Teacher (Online) is to prepare and deliver high quality teaching and learning content, resources and activities for students enrolled in the Online Education Centre. Meeting DLCS and NESA requirements and using a range of technologies and an internet presence the teacher will assist students to complete an HSC course remotely via distance education.
Work Requirements: A current/valid Australian Driver's Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of the appointment Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check Current NESA accreditation Requirement to travel between school locations with overnight visits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education in the related teaching field. Work Experience: Current experience in the teaching field. Experience in online course development and instructional design. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies. Key Capabilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of accessibility standards and online teaching best practices. Plus, the following generic criteria:
