About the role Key objectives & responsibilities include: Provide a high level of customer service to Production Department, ensuring tools, materials and equipment are readily available for consumption into projects Provide warehouse and logistics services throughout Austal facilities, in line with Supply Chain process. Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner whilst maintaining an operator license. Stowing, picking, packaging, and handling of goods in line with Supply Chain procedures for safe storage and/or transit of goods. Required Skills / Experience / Attributes: Hold a Construction safety induction (white card) Current forklift license Current manual driver’s license 2 years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience within an Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation Working experience in a computerised ERP environment Why Austal Competitive compensation and benefits package.
