The team People & Development (P&D) is responsible for delivering people initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the full employee lifecycle. The team delivers initiatives, advice and services in people related matters that support Executive Directors, Senior Executives, Managers and team members during their careers with ASIC. The role As aStrategic People Partner, you will: Support the Registry Operations function within ASIC which is currently transitioning from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to ASIC. The position will require supporting all aspects of the transition and the ongoing employment lifecycle. Partnering with the Senior Executive Leader to establish and drive the strategic people plan for the business unit. Partnering with the business to find solutions to complex workforce challenges. Proactively drive initiatives to attract talent and develop and retain all our valued employees. Proactively source people data insights to help inform effective decision making and mitigate risks. Lead and facilitate outcomes of key diagnostic measures (ie; culture & engagement, wellness). Manage complex internal case management. Act as a change agent to facilitate the delivery of programs and initiatives that support the Registry Operations. About you We are looking for a very experienced Strategic Business Partner who has a high level of change management and project experience. You will have experience working with transmission of businesses or Machinery of Governments within an organisation as your key success factor in this role. Your support to the Registry Operations business solely will see this role requiring strong employee relations application across enterprise agreements, case management and working on the integration of two businesses taking the lead on all people related matters. This end to end role from administration through to strategic planning driving delivery with support to the Executive of this Registry portfolio offers a great opportunity. A solid background in managing a large workforce change and managing significant people programs. Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline or equivalent experience. Extensive experience providing operational human resource management advice at a senior level. Demonstrated expertise in implementing transformation initiatives. Practical experience and knowledge of employee and industrial relations and its application. Demonstrated solid expertise in the provision of high-quality business advice to senior stakeholders within a complex organisation. Expertise in developing a robust workforce plan and its implementation. Exceptional interpersonal skills in coaching, counselling, and developing teams and individual team members.
