While local candidates are preferred, we are open to FIFO arrangements for Victoria based candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote compliance and a continuous improvement culture to drive process and cost improvement.Plan, organize, implement and support team centered continuous improvement activities.Identify & resolve non-value-added activities, development of cost reduction projects utilizing root cause corrective action and process maps for effective problem solving.Assist the Project Teams to complete works in accordance with the contract documentation and standards, along with KAEFER operational procedures.Maintain monitoring of project progress, safety, environmental and quality procedures of both the client and of KAEFER.Maintain document control registers to coincide with the company's policies.Assist in the inspection plans, test plans & quality plans.Record onsite Quality Requirements.Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Manage the data collection system ensuring testing records are up to date and appropriately recorded.Carry out audits and inspections and report on deficiencies or trends of the quality system in accordance with all appropriate Australian Standards.Prepare reports on quality matters where required.Ensure only calibrated equipment is being used and equipment calibration register is maintained.Coordinate all site inspections with client representatives.Ensure all works are correctly prepared prior to any client inspection being undertaken, involving daily process site inspection and answering all queries and concerns from Supervisors.Assist the Site Management team in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities regarding site/actual conditions against drawings, methods and project specifications.About YouMust hold a CSWIP.Experience using and understanding the requirements of auditing and Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2008 / AS 4801:2001).Experience performing multidisciplinary inspections, interpreting isometric drawings, investigating quality non-conformances / discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.Able to understand technical information and design drawings.Strong and professional communication and customer service skills.Intermediate skill level in the 2010 Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to work effectively within a team environment and without close supervision.If you possess the above experience or are looking for a way to kick start your career in the industry, please click “APPLY” below.Note: email applications will not be accepted, our preferred method of application is through our system to ensure your application doesn’t get lost.KAEFER Integrated Services is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages women and Indigenous Australians to apply.Due to the permanent nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents or Open Work Visa holders with more than 12 months validity from their role start date.
