About The Role As our Bendigo Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Duties
9. Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
10. Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education
11. Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes
12. Lead compliance with ACFI assessments
13. Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers
14. Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits
15. Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements
16. Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
Skills and Experience
17. Current AHPRA is essential
18. Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential
19. Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded
20. Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds
21. Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting
22. Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
23. Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills
24. An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
