Role Summary
CHC are seeking a Crew Planner to join our team based in the Perth Corporate Office on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Control Centre Manager, this a dynamic role responsible for planning Pilots training including booking travel to the simulation training as well as assisting with Crew travel.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Development and management of rosters for the CHC Australia Operations.
2. Collaborate with internal departments and third-party vendors to coordinate respective crew training.
3. Ensure that crew members assigned to contracts are qualified to meet project requirements.
4. Develop and manage rosters, ensuring their accuracy and compliance.
5. Be fully conversant with the FRMS and associated Work Practices/EBA currently in use.
6. Processing of allowances and claim reimbursements in accordance with the EBA.
7. Ability to work remotely and afterhours, including weekends as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
8. Experience in a similar role and/or in Scheduling or Planning is beneficial, however, the role is suitable for candidates who possess the below-mentioned skillsets and attributes. Full training will be provided.
9. Ability to engage strong relationships at all levels.
10. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
11. Proven analytical skills.
12. Experienced in maintaining accurate, timely and comprehensive reports.
13. Competent with MS office packages.
14. Strong problem solving and solution-oriented skills.
15. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
16. Strong time management, planning and organisational skills.
17. Ability to drive change and recommend process improvement initiatives.
18. Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach within a dynamic business environment.
19. Aviation experience beneficial but not essential.
