We have a number of openings available, and one of them might be the perfect fit for you!Situated in DoncasterImmediate start available - urgent need$47.90ph - 56.68ph +Superannuation.Your new roleThis role involves liaison with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate, develop and prepare appropriate leases, licences and agreements to support service delivery objectives.Develop, maintain, and analyse property asset information (including the lease register) to ensure data accuracy and currency.Responsible for compliance with all legislative requirements relating to the function of the Leasing unit.Recommend and implement approved solutions to existing processes and procedures for AV's property asset leasing, licencing, and agreements.Exercise professional judgement about the application of existing policies, procedures, and guidelines.Provide professional advice and guidance on real estate management activities, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.Administer the lease renewal program, including implementation of a monitoring plan to ensure AV's property asset leases, licences and agreements always remain current within parameters established by policy, procedures, and guidelines.Contribute to the development of a comprehensive leasing management procedure to formalise current accountabilities, responsibilities, and governance arrangements for management of property asset leases, licences, and agreements.Contribute to Leasing unit and Property Services team goals through the application of expertise in real estate management.Undertake other activities within the skills and experience of the occupant at the direction of the Manager Property Leasing as required.Participate and contribute to improving the maturity of processes and information systems for the management of property leases.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in obtaining this opportunity, you'll have extensive understanding and experience of governmental real estate management.
You must also hold:Knowledge and understanding of legal processes relating to property leases, licences, and agreements, including the Retail Leases Act 2003, Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.Experience in the use of real estate information management systems.Attention to detail using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded accurately.Experience in real estate negotiation in both a commercial and residential context.Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling of work tasks and projects to ensure work priorities are completed on time.Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence.Interested?If you'd like more information about this position or other available roles across Melbourne, please reach out to me directly for a confidential discussion.
