The role
Crown Sydney have a part-time opportunity to join as a Membership Specialist. The Membership Specialist is a key role At Crown, assisting our guests and facilitating Crown’s membership onboarding activities, delivering elevated experiences during the registration process and ensuring that we remain compliant with relevant procedures and regulatory obligations.
This is a customer-centric role, where you’ll be the first point of interaction for our guests before they are granted access to the gaming areas at Crown. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a high-volume and premium environment, enjoy providing personalised experiences for our members and be focussed with attention to detail. You’ll also work across a variety of internal and external systems where you’ll be required to manage guest information with confidentiality and accuracy.
Please note you will need to have ability to work 32 hours over 4 days, across a 7-day rotating roster, including evening shifts up until midnight, on weekends and public holidays. There may be opportunity to pick up additional shifts from time to time.
As part of the recruitment process, pre-employment checks including criminal history and credit checks will need to be completed prior to offer. You will also need to be approved for the NSW Casino Special Employee License prior to commencement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Providing premium guest and VIP experiences in a fast-paced environment
2. Performing registration and onboarding activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
3. Maintaining accurate records and reporting with minimal errors
4. Explaining relevant compliance and legislation relating to customer processes ( AML/CTF, KYC, and Privacy etc.) to customers
5. Supporting a culture of compliance regarding Crown’s internal policies & procedures
6. Escalating any concerns or breaches to your leader
7. Working collaboratively with various internal and external teams
About you
8. Demonstrated experienced in a customer facing role (such as gaming, hotels, banking, retail etc)
9. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
10. Ability to making informed decisions in a fast-moving or regulated environment
11. Second language would be advantageous (Chinese/Mandarin highly regarded)
12. Unrestricted working rights and ability to commit to rotating shifts across a 7-day roster, including evening shifts up until midnight, on weekends and public holidays (Thursday to Sunday availability is highly regarded)
13. Ability to obtain all required Casino Special Employee Licenses (paid for by Crown if successful)
